Lavda at FUSE
The FUSE Conference began with an emotional performance by storyteller and writer Nimisha Ladva. Through using comical voice impersonations of her parents and detailing heart-breaking conversations with her mother-in-law, Nimisha presented an enthralling set of stories about her life experiences. She demonstrated a mastery of the art and had the entire room laughing as well as tearing up.
Nimisha also led a workshop that challenged writers to dive into their personal experiences and approach topics they've never written about before. She structured the workshop so that students would meet and interact with others while sharing story ideas. Nimisha truly emphasized the benefits of collaboration, especially with other writers who are all willing to learn and grow.
