The Santa Fe Writers Project, Monica Prince (Interview)

The Santa Fe Writers Project (SFWP) is an independent press that was founded in 1998 by Andrew Gifford, originally located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The press maintains a centralized emphasis on “embracing new trends and ideas beyond those of the current publishing industry and [seeks] to champion diverse voices.” SFWP maintains an online literary journal that circulates on a quarterly basis, as well as an annual Awards Program that is recognized internationally. In addition, SFWP runs a publishing imprint, Alan Squire Publishing, which specializes in “boutique books and poetry.”
